Hi everyone,

longtime reader of this forum, long time TT player. Just wanted to share a small game I'm currently playing.

Actually it's one of the first time I play on such a small map and it's quite interesting.

Note that this is a new kind of gameplay for me, I usually play on larger maps and develop my networks. With this, I was looking at making a cleaner, leaner networks that are somewhat integrated with the cities. I think, that, up to now (growth period) it's shaping up quite nicely.

Enjoy!

1) Overview of the map (just realized I forgot to include the elevations... oh well)

2) Kornfeld, a full grown city (and the biggest) that was initially just around 500 souls. The station is small for what it receives and not very efficient to my usual standards, but it looks good to me and the rails just fit nicely in the city.

3) Lohrbruck, a canal crosses the city limits so that the Niederstadt-Kornfeld Ferry saves some time.. You can see the ferry about to cross under a concrete bridge in the screen.

Good shots, but why not to post those shot straight to tt-forums? Do not use any alternative sites?!

Nice!

Why does the line from Schoenhurst (?) have so many turns in its eastern part?

Good Question!

As I said, I didn't include the elevations in the map unfortunately, but it's all made work with each elevation.

Here are some shots of the line

1) West part of Schonehorst line with the city on the western side. you can see the food processing plant that produces food for the Kornfeld metropolis.

2) Schonehorst line on the east part joins a farm in the mountains from nearby Regenhorst, a small village of 194 souls

3) The greater Kornfeld area includes Westerbrucken. Lohrbruck canal (and Lohrbruck itself) is just north west from Westerbrucken. This is shot in 1973, I realized the first shot of Kornfeld is from a while back.
