"biggest" can be A LOT of things, number of platforms, platform lenght and spread are a matter of measuring

Here is probably one of the biggest/most complex stations I have ever built. I go for looks rather than performance, but this one has both. Trains will try to use the original 2-platform Carson City depot, but there is also a functional 4-track switchyard! The "subway" by-pass track that runs underneath the food processing plant allows NB trains to bypass the station to hit either the yard tracks or the maintenance shop (depot.) Tiny rural Carson City is a major transfer hub for passengers (running CargoDist here) as well as the railroad's home base. Note the bidirectional approach tracks, transitioning to a bidirectional 3-track main to the south, and a 4-track directional main to the west. The South track to Austin is getting a 4th main soon, as Austin (a boring 4 track terminal station) is the other terminal for the shuttle to Omaha Airport. The TurboTrain is the railroad's only long-distance passenger train, running all the way from Austin through Carson City to Fort Worth and on to Cleveland. Most of the "local" passenger trains run 117 mph, and have to mix it up with 80 mph freights (hence the bi-directional tracks with lots of crossovers.)

Oxygen deficient are we?

Anyway, screenshots...
I took a giant one of probably the largest single freight transfer area and the surrounding rail junction...

A couple of quick shots from one of my games I have running right now, there is 132 Trains servicing the 'Goods Pickup' station, they still cannot keep up to the production of the Factory and Sawmill. The Steel Mill is producing around 28,000 - 32,000 a month.

 I feel like a midget amongst giants.

But how about letting the game generate a map and making most of it, instead of making the perfect money machine. I usually take 128 by 128 tile maps and develop them like there's no tomorrow, it gets quite complicated, the more the better ;)

My raw material factories never produce that many products to get this kind of amounts. All woods in my map services one sawmill. A few thousands goods, not talking about dissapearing woods, which need to rebuild.

I'll try three "factory" stations of mine. But I must warn you, I like to play it as original als possible/likeable. So no large trains, no cargodist (or whatever it is called) Just plain and simple OpenTTD with some settings to increase the handiness and possibillities of the game.

This is surely the biggest one, but not very efficient. In 1980 it was almost twice as big (I deleted that save yesterday  ).

Yeah, sometimes I do that, generate a map then link up everything I can, without any GRF's or large trains.

Technically this is 2 stations but one feeds the other, a total of 694 trains run through all 3 sections, this entire project took roughly 5 game years to produce, cost roughly £15 million in construction fees, £200 million on train costs and roughly £3 billion on producing the toffee quarries, candyfloss forests and sugar mines to service the 6 line mainline into the station
Here is the main overview showing the 3 platform sections.

Here i show the main party piece, a 6 line mainline into the main sugar, toffee and candyfloss drop off, each material has 2 dedicated lines in and 4 dedicated platforms.
