With the inspiration from Purnos thread did i decide to make my own. My storytelling capabilites arent superhigh either, but lets see where it goes
The pesident of "The long land of the living" (i.e. 128x2048) decided in 1947 that his country needed a better infrastructure, and he asked a lot of transport companies to come with offers. The norweegian NSB decided to make an offer, and after 3 years, the construction started in 1950.
The Minesetry of transportation had laied the folloing terms:
* All major cities in the country should have the following
- be connected within a century with an intercity trainconnection, or if needed, also with aircrafts
- it's own subway system
- a network of trams or busses
* All minor cities should the following:
- have a commuter service to their closest major city
- if needed, a bus or tram network
The endstation on the first side was decided to be Ceabrugh Beaches. There were constructed some simple platforms, but one day will this most likely be a hugh passanger terminal. If the line gets good profit will it most likely soon get some better facilities. As you might see, NSB decided to have two companies. One for the Intercity connections with a Orange and Red Livary, and an InnerCity company with a Blue and Red Livary. This is to have better company profiles.
The next station in line was Trewich. Also some simple platforms were constructed, but construction of some extra facilities is already approved by the board of NSB.
The first train to enter service is an American GE F3 with a B-unit connected for extra poweroutput. Connected to it is a whole bunch of 2nd class wagons, as well as some 1st class wagons for extra passanger comfort. Each trainset is capable of carrying more then 500 people.

Re: DJ Nekkids 2CC + more Screenshots thread
As the station attracted more and more people did NSB decide to upgrade the station, as well as the safety. They created an underground tunnel from the tram stops, as well as some shelter from the rain, some boards for train schedules and some benches. The croud were very pleased.
As the first two stations were a huge success did NSB decide to expand futher, this requierd them to cross a great valley, and it were decided to build some bridges. A few million manhours later did a very nice steel bridge make the valley passable
To compensate for the added line did NSB decide to add two new trains. This time also an american engine, the "Sharknose" with also here a B-unit were choosen. They were twice as expensive, cost 30% more to run, but also run 30% faster then the F3's

Two small, and one slightly larger town in the suburbs of Ceabrough Beeches did get a electrified connection, and serviced by the norwegian built BM65. And they also did get their own branch on the station.
The inhabitants of CB did complain about this beeing ugly, but NSB did blame the lack of money.

The Trewich area were rapidly expanding, and the framework for a metro and suburban trains were made.
Closeup of a 2nd hand Metro-train baught from London. This one is made in 1903, and even tho it's more then 50 years old, some paint and a sewing machine can do a lot. Unfortunately did the painter paint the wrong color, and NSB is unlikely to use this painting company again.

Re: DJ Nekkids 2CC + more Screenshots thread
im sorry to say that that the game with the screenies died out. Im bound to make a new one soon(tm), however, i've lately been fiddeling around with some PBS-stations, as there seem to be a lot of "interesting", but pretty big designs out there, or just crappy ones.
One terminus, and one dual direction roro.
this is just concepts tho, the "shortest" bit before the X in the station is usually TL+1, so the trains can go at full speed (if highspeed), plus IF the concept are to fail, it can stay there without interupting the other trains' paths. However, YAPP/YAPF is clever enough to not choose a path if it's already busy. However, the PBS-signal in front of the X isnt REALLY neccesary either, atleast not with somewhat fast trains (120kmh+ guesstimate) as the first platforms are usually taken first, and is cleared when the further away platforms are getting full...
