Re: Yet another digidampftool
I use almost all of you're tools and like with the others this tool look promising as well...I was looking for something like this a few days ago.
But how can I open the program ? I did everything the help-file told me to do, put Locotool.exe and Locotool.dll in a new map, then unzipped the viewer in the same map. If I try to open the program it says : Can't be started because qtintf70.dll can not be found. Installing this again might solve the problem.
I also tried to drop a dat.file on the viewer and I get the same message...
So how do you open the viewer. The help file is nice and all but it doesn't really say how to use a dat.file with the program ?
Thnxsss Digi !

Hi,
I had the same problem, but I found this dll-file and then it works fine. So, search the dll, put it in the system32-folder and the tool will work.Emperor Darth Sidious wrote:If I try to open the program it says : Can't be started because qtintf70.dll can not be found. Yeah nice tool digi, works fine, i have some recommendation tough, it would be nice if the object selection window would open at the spot of the last selected object and if it is possible to add a button to your nice program that auto selects the next or the previeouse object in the Objdata folder, because its a hell of a job to find the spot of your last selected object in a 2800 Objdata file.
Btw i missed that dll to, found it at internet and just placed it in the same folder, works greate, thumbs up Digi

Re: Yet another digidampftool
well digidampfman, this worked for me and the program opened and everything, but it wont let me edit the text. So if it said something like 88% reliability, it wont let me change it. Same for the start and obsolete years. How do i get it so i can edit the text?!!?
Thank you very much and if this works, hats off to you!!

Re: Yet another digidampftool
You can't do that. The Tool is called LocoViewer, not LocoEditor.LocoMark wrote:well digidampfman, this worked for me and the program opened and everything, but it wont let me edit the text. Re: Yet another digidampftool
So let's party ... ahem update
Sorry for the trouble with the exotic DLL. It was caused by dead code.
I fixed it and soon the EXE became smaller by nearly 360 KB and
we don't need this DLL anymore. I've tested it.
Some other glitches are also fixed now.
@Zimmlock
I know this problem but since it's a standard Windows-Filedialog
i have no big chance to implement what you suggest. But if you begin
typing inside the file name field you receive a sorted drop-down list.
That should help a little bit.
'til then
