REL: Squarable nightmare before Christmas

Post by Zimmlock »

A small unmodded (as fare as i know) scenario with one exception, the Boundarys.
Goal is to deliver 250.000 crates of goods.
Start date 1910

This scenario is made to have problems with your selve due to lack of space and the diagonal allignment, what reduces the selection of track parts.
The boundarys are there to keep you on the land and annoy you even more
If you want to mod it the LPS set from Plastikman fits verry wel.
Think small, it was not tested, but i played it, just to see if all tracks fit and they do.
Boundarys can be found there->http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=44708
Have fun

At Brokenhill to prevent the town from expanding into the ironore mine, at Alice and Thinbridge to prevent you doing noughty things ^^

Why underground though, towns don't expand underground.
at Alice and Thinbridge to prevent you doing noughty things ^^
The road is at 16ft (I use feet) and is annoying! Roll on Roll off stations with underground
cross overs (unders) are hard to do. I didn't use bridges because they are not the prettiest
things.

Mush Likes eye candy,

Ohh, like I said , screenies:

Brokenhill does and as i wrote to annoy you, otherwise the game is finished to quickly

BTW if you want the towns to except goods build trams in them and they ll develop and finaly except goods.

Yeah, trams, now y'see, I forgot to add any trams to the active scenario data. It was
just US rail stock

*note* One way to expand towns quickly is to have a high percentage rating with the local authority.

Hi Guys,
I have been trying to play this scenario, but when loading it says I have the following missing:
BLOCKADE/9C7C82114DF83DI4

Any ideas what it is?
Tried IA's Dat.crawler & search button but nothing.

I know it's not the boundary markers, as I have them installed already?

:?:

I hate to tell you, but blockade.dat is the boundary markers.

How did you install them? Have you read the readme? If the objects are located within a folder inside your objdata, lomo can't see them. you need to extract either the blockade-play or blockade-build and have that dat in your objdata. One for when you're playing, the other for when you're creating the map.

That one isnt in the .dat crawler only this one:
.dat filename: BLDSTOP
Description: This is a little tool for Route style maps. It allows the map builder to set a route through a square map to give the illusion of a larger map by placing boundaries where he would like to prevent the player from passing through.

That's odd - in the "Boundary_Marker" package there are two folders - called "BLDSTOP-XX" but the .dats are called BLOCKADE? IS this indecisiveness on Plastik's part or something else?

Anyway, I've added it.

no one shows up invisible, and the other shows up as candy can poles. But you can only use one a time.

when making a map you use the candy cane poles so you can see where they are being laced, then switch out the dats, so they are invisible for the map.
