Train is not going to empty available platform

Post by jawwadsaif »

I am facing this strange problem I am unable to fix. I have a station with four platforms. Trains are using only 3 of them but not the 4th as it is always empty. Why trains are not using the 4th platform?

Your rail configuration is wrong, after the single entry signal you have two different switches, best is to avoid that and have one where all four tracks combine, arrow at screenie.

Zim is correct for is switch pattern but the problem you have 2 two way signals on the track that your train is at. Loco sees the 2nd signal and the train will go to that signal.

As for anyone that has trains not going to empty station a couple things I have noticed about a trains AI. 1. they tend to try to take the shortest route so switching into a station with lead tracks should NOT a Wye type switch as SIR BNSF has in this example http://www.tt-forums.net/download/file.php?id=158569... Better to have straight, right, and right. I don't know why but when i Had this problem I re arranged the swithes and it fixed itself.

Replace the one-way signals with two-way signals at your platform entrances. That should do it.

Try two-way sigs at the platform ends too. Been a long time since I played this!

I solve it.
as I notice before it not about the sign way but distance of platform from sign.

it works now.
