Cool, looking forward to it. Will this be in George's 1px/ft scale of TTD's "Non-scale"?

Great idea,

Please keep it in TTD "Non-scale" I much prefer it that way.
Looking forward to have some more busses around.

I'm working on the Volvo B10BLE ATM. Don't know if we will include it or not, but as it is the type of bus we have around here, it's good fun. It also looks like the previous generation of buses, so can be modified to be any of that style.

Will post the sprites when I am done with them...

Hey, thanks for the link Rollo!

Here are the sprites for the Volvo Low-Floor.

I owe a lot of credit to WhiteHand here for the original sprites, and for starting the set to enourage me to bother contributing, and a shed load of credit to DanMacK, who has been keen to help me the whole way, and given me all the good advice I needed.

P.S. I hope the shading is right :)).

May be we need a graphics author who will truncate all the LV graphics to the TTD scale?

Or (altough something like that is probably total impossible), write a program which will do it?

That bus looks pretty good, Raichase. Maybe you should do pixel-art more often!

Thanks for all the comments guys, it was fun. I did get the basic shape of the bus, some of the windows (back, front), and the tyres from WhiteHand here (I just had to re-position the wheels to make the bus look longer).

Similar to the US Set, I wouldn't mind seeing them in seperate packages, like Pikka has done with his buses :)), but perhaps have them all enclosed in an "AU" zip package. That way, people can use the buses and trains seperatly no matter what the stage of production we are at :)).

Also, I wouldn't mind drawing the buses in player colour too, so that they can be used with OTTD.

I am looking forward to having another bash at something, perhaps a train for the AU Set?.

Welcome to another Aussie. Whitehand and I are both from NSW, and are working on the buses we see everyday mostly, so we don't have much of an idea what QLD buses look like.

It is up to Whitehand, as the coder, to decide in the end. I think we are limiting this set to the buses found around Sydney, but if we have some spare ID's, I'm sure we could find room for other buses.

Also, if the same model buses are used by other State-run Bus Companies in other states, perhaps livery variations could be done?
