[patch] Show vehicles in tunnels

There exists an old patch that allows the user to see vehicles while they are inside a tunnel and allows the user to select them. The original version can be found here:

I've updated the patch such that it applies to the current trunk (r25578), which is attached to this post.
I created this post, because there was not yet a post about this patch on this forum.

Nice I like this patch also.

May I suggest to disable the feature in the main menu mode?
It really does not look good there. ;)

i haven't checked the patch, but in one previous incarnation it had a transparency button, but i think the states of that button should be swapped, i.e the "solid" state should not show any vehicles in tunnels, but the "transparent" state should show them (think of it as: "make tunnels transparent"). that should also solve the main menu issue.
