also after noticing this i went back to the 2.1.143 version

Coming back to OTTD I noticed that one of the for me personally most important upgrades of OTTD made it into trunk (Cargodist). Then I started looking what else was new and stumpled upon this patchpack and I am stunned. This is the OTTD (for singleplayer at least) that I was always dreaming of! Automated timetable/separation is there, more height levels are there and signals on bridges and in tunnels. There are also many other upgrades included that I do appreciate but simply the combination of the aforementioned patches with latest trunk makes me soooooooooo happy! Thanks a lot kamnet for discovering this jewel and compiling it for noobs like me!!! :bow: :bow: :bow:
Everybody can contribute to OTTD! It does not require you to be an IT specialist or designer. And it does not take days or weeks of your time either.
There are many simple yet important tasks like translations, investigating facts and details and many other that need work and if you help a bit then the experienced developers can focus more on making OTTD even more awesome!
OTTD = Awesomeness created by a whole lot of volunteers, be one of them if you like the game!

Will this converter allow a game saved with v2.1.143 to be used with v2.2.182, or v2.2.192? If yes, could you post the Linux source code? I understand that it may have bugs, but I'd like to try it anyway.

Based on the screenshot you can see a "Columbus Food Delivery" vehicle's details/info window open, and the crash happened when I clicked an arrow key (I think it was Arrow-Down)

Which version of this patch pack is perceived as relatively stable?
I tried 2.2.182 from updated first post, but it is crashing if map is zoomed out beyond 64x (minimap mode) and Ctrl+mouse wheel is used to cycle views.
It crashed also if zonings are on, during zooming out.

The December 2014 Patch pack (2.2.182) has a problem with Sub-Tropic world Generation. No matter what settings I use for random generation, or what ever height map I use, no desert/sand area is generated and thus some industries like the Water tower will not spawn (not that is really needed when the whole world/map is tropical grass)

I'm using the default height setting btw

I play with my friend on a multiplayer server which I host.
Planes and trains work fine but whenever we try to use buses game starts to shutter.
Do you guys know what can cause that?

Anyone know what the problem is here? All tropical/grass/forest in Sub-Tropic when generating a map/heightmap?

Memory Leak - Spring Patch Pack (2.xx.143)

I discovered a big memory leak problem involving the Departure Boards. I recently started using implicit orders to make it easier to create new routes. I had two termini in the orders as "Go to" rather than "Go non-stop to" so that I didn't have to micromanage intermediate station timing and keep regular hourly services.

When doing this, it's not possible to use Departure Boards. Something about implicit orders messes with it and my memory use shot up right away. The intermediate stations don't show up on the departure boards of those stations either.

It's too bad because it would make manual timetabling much easier! Click two stations on a super-long regional route and split the total journey time in two - done. I suppose if I didn't care about the departure boards for intermediate stations, I could just non-stop all the orders and then only add a couple travel times to equal the entire journey...

This made because OTTD doesn't store timetable for implicit orders.
If you need travel time for them, look at Trip History Window. Trip history contains all stations vehicle has been visited.

Hey, I've noticed a bug in version 2.2.192 with improved breakdowns :

The plane is broken down to 0km/h, so it can't go to an airport to be serviced.
