Thanks Kamnet,
Much appreciated, I'll buy you a beer if you're ever in Australia. Hey is there a nightly of this new build I could get a hand on?

Not as far as I know. Best thing is to just keep checking Pi1985's Dropbox folder every so often and see if he's uploaded a release. As soon as I catch one I'll update the first post with info.

maintenance
Forgive me if this has already been addressed but my search hasn't helped so far.
Has anyone noticed how absurdly low the maintenance costs are? I'm using eGRV2 and what costs 900/per year in Trunk (Foster Pioneer Bus) costs roughly 1/9th of that in the Patch Pack. Vehicles cost about 1/6th less or so. I've tried adjusting daylength and running two similar routes to check for differences and the Trunk bus earns roughly 4000 per year (after the 900-ish in maintenance) and the Patch Pack bus on a very similar route earns about the same but maintenance remains very low. Naturally, if I return daylength to 4 I have a bus making 16,000 or so and costing 100 per year to run.
I've left the price multiplier options at 1 because I have no idea how I might adjust each individual one. Roads and rails appear to differ between versions by a factor of 4 (4 times more expensive in trunk).
Does anyone else have this problem? Can I globally bring up all the costs in the Patch Pack?

Perhaps my question was phrased incorrectly.kamnet wrote:Under Advanced Settings:

The running costs for all vehicles (FISH, 2CC, eGRV, trams) in this patch pack are slightly over 9 times cheaper than the Trunk. I tested this with a new config but the difference between the pack and trunk is still 9 times.
Here's a photo showing the difference. All other factors have been controlled for and the only difference is that one is trunk and the other is not. Costs are variable for different things and I cannot consistently make every Price Multiplier 8 since the difference might be 6X for something and 18X for another. The base costs seem completely off (and very low for everything). Daylength does not change anything from what I can see and the 9.xx ratio is suspect.
Edit: I've attached my config in case anyone knows what has gone wrong.

This problem solved in 2.1.143 version. Update, please.epictetus wrote:Does anyone else have this problem? Can I globally bring up all the costs in the Patch Pack?
There is a converter to 2.xx version to convert your savegame.
Re: OpenTTD Spring 2013 Patch Pack - English Help Topic
I wish I had seen your reply sooner. I spent quite a bit of time trying to isolate that as the problem. Are there any known problems that still exist in 2.xx?

I need to add a patch copy and paste the templates into the spring pack, but do not know how. It seems to me starts to throw your mistakes MS Visual Studio. Could someone compile a spring pack + patch copy and paste templates + openttd?
I do not understand C ++. I would just compiled a program which case run (executable) .please.

Your trying to compile an .exe for windows? You do know there are pre-compiled binaries on the first page (exe's for 32 bit and 64 bit windows, as well as Linux and mac)marek17 wrote:I need to add a patch copy and paste the templates into the spring pack, but do not know how. He wants to merge the Copy & Paste patch into this patch pack. He's trying to do so with MSVC instead of gcc.NekoMaster wrote:Your trying to compile an .exe for windows? Does the Spring 2013 Patch Pack code itself compile under MSVC? If it does not, you'll have to figure out how to resolve it.

Hey,
does anyone know, when it is possible to use the "leave if any vehicle arrives" order? I couldn't make it work. Do I have to enable something in the settings?

Re: OpenTTD Spring 2013 Patch Pack - English Help Topic
I downloaded the summer pack diff, then copypaste.diff, trunk version 26440
In MSVC2013 I gave full source code to update to the latest version (Openttd100.sln> Openttd120.sln). I set all the necessary libraries (library, includes x64, x86 ... Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2007)).
I applied through TortoiseSVN all the patchs, while I applied only 2 patchs. I did not know what version I download a trunk. I downloaded three different versions trunk (26385,26440,27029).
I ran compilation of the project, MSVC I started listing a lot of mistakes. I do not know those bugs fix.
I just wanted one able compiled OpenTTD with patch copy + paste summerpack.
If that does not work, so I delete MSVC2013 and MinGW (it did not want to run the missing head exe).

Re: OpenTTD Spring 2013 Patch Pack - English Help Topic
All patches are created to be applied against a very specific version of the OpenTTD trunk. They may be able to be applied to future versions, but there is no guarantee of this as trunk code is constantly changing. Patch pack authors take care to select patches that they are familiar with and know how to update so that they can work together. If you are wanting to update this patch pack with an additional patch, you will need to know how and where to modify code so that it all compiles together against a specific version of OpenTTD.
Just trying to throw together everything with a random trunk revision, without knowledge of how to modify and incorporate the patches properly, is always going to result in a failed compile.

I found bug.
I set the parameters for generating maps 32768x32768 only 4 city without industry .Last PC installed the 32 gigabytes of RAM Crucial 1600Mhz.Hra at a resolution maps 16384x16384 is unplayable. I gave the game a break, I have built a few tiles rail. If a game without without pause, trains and all animations go very slowly. As if they had low FPS.

Re: OpenTTD Spring 2013 Patch Pack - English Help Topic
congratulations. You discovered some of the reasons OpenTTD trunk does not allow maps larger than 4096^2: the patch is buggy, it needs way more work than just changing the max map size constant in the source code. And even when that's solved, 99% of current computers cannot run them sensibly without further major modifications.marek17 wrote:I found bug.

I tested it with new game, no grf's, no ai's and no GS, and still after one month there's nothing to transport..
