The track 14 excitement run for your life does seem like a speed up version of Nirvana "come as you" are to me !

Correct me if I am wrong !
I just heard the song and thought isn't this Nirvana "come as you are" in 8 bit version.
And yes I know it is a little bit modified/changed so that it doesn't sound that much like the Nirvana song :)

I can't see Chris Sawyer or John Broomhall being a closet Nirvana fan myself. But if it sounds like that to you, good for you!

Likely just coincidence. The only direct similarity I can hear is the drum beat.

Pretty sure he's talking about the OpenMSX music replacement.

Ah wondered why I didn't recognise the name of the song. Well, are any of the OpenMSX devs secret (or open!) Nirvana fans? :P

I dunno. "Come As You Are" is one of my favorite Nirvana tracks, and I'm not hearing it at all. Of course, if anybody would like to help out and finish off OenMSX with creating original works of their own, that would be swell, too!!

OpenNevermind: And open source collection of MIDI songs that sound similar to, but are legally distinct from, popular Nirvana hits.

Including such popular hits as "Scent like steam spirit"
