I'm using the UKRS set for trains, but the vehicles I have from default OTTD and they are kind of lacking in variety. I was wondering if someone could recommend any?

Well, I use eGRVTS for road vehicles, FISH for ships and the Aviators Aircraft set.
Of course these aren't the only good sets, maybe someone else will recommend some other sets :)

Well, in my opinion, the Ikarus Set has some of the best buses around, as they have the best variety including small details such as air-conditioning and amount of doors, and the German Road Vehicle Set has some of the best trams because they are well drawn and aligned. And if you like big trucks and machinery, give HEQS a try.

In any case, I recommend going onto the online content, downloading anything that looks interesting, and simply try it out
