Nekomasters Win\Linux builds

Post by NekoMaster »

Alright, now that I can finaly patch and compile my own binaries now, Ill post them here. Pay attention to what patches it has as I may add in extra patchs, more or less making a patch pack.

So first up is a New cargodist build patched with extra large maps patch. Patched on r19009

Edit : Ok, I compiled with the make bundle_bzip2 command and now the build has all the necessary files.

Don't forget to either attach the patch related to the binary or be prepared to give someone the source if (s)he asks for it in the coming three years (this is a subtle hint to actually read OpenTTD's license).

Also package the license (COPYING). Actually, use the packaging stuff provided by the makefiles (make bundle_zip or make bundle_bzip2) instead of trying to do it yourself; you've added all kinds of subversion metadata directories that are totally useless and you're missing some files.

Yes, how about every person who is able to compile make their own topic, then it won't be confusing or disorganized at all.
