Well, since it is broken, I wouldn't recommend downloading it at all, just wait for a proper update.Urlopanciks wrote:Where this file is need to placed?
Are you sure you applied the patch? None of the commands bring any response.PetasIII wrote:Hi,
I have compiled latest patch 0.7.5. So There it is w32 binary.
Note:
Build was successful. No errors or warnings.

Could you provide a working diff?PetasIII wrote:Sorry, I really forgot to do "patch all", I was in a hurry and didnt have time to test it. So I will try to fix it now.
Code: Select all
svn diff > filename.diff
Well I used diff file that was posted earlier in this thread. I used TortoiseSVN to download 0.7.5 and to patch it. MSVC08 to compile it(with Directx August2007, OTTD Useful 3.0). Maybe there is your problem...petert wrote:Could you provide a working diff?PetasIII wrote:Sorry, I really forgot to do "patch all", I was in a hurry and didnt have time to test it. Compiling:
No errors
Functionality:
No errors
Commands work (Virtual Machine Tested)
So patched binary for windows x32.
Well, that happens becouse server-side is used only to host, not to play. But you can still bypass this by running 2 instance of the game. This is possible thing to do on the same computer (I didnt know until I tried). So run citybuilder instance, create game, then run classic 0.7.5 and join your local game (for me it showed 4 local games, but they were all the same).Kogut wrote:Is it possible to use it in single player?
I donloaded server side, started game, but building HQ result in nothing.
PetasIII wrote:Ok so, I will test further, if all features work. Results in about an hour.
TEST UPDATED:
Claiming - works, just build your HQ in the city.
City information each month - works nice.
Goods delivery - works, water, ect. added.
Yearly info on leading positions - works nice.
Your city is growing - shows activity if supplied with resorces.
So IT WORKS!
Yeah, it should work.Urlopanciks wrote:It works in multiplayer? If i want to build my server?
