Yes. I successfully compiled on Yosemite (10.10). Recompiling didn't work, as did configure.

So I took the following required steps (in addition to the OS X install guide) using Homebrew:
  • Upgrade to OS X Yosemite
  • Install XCode 6.1
  • Install command line tools for Yosemite
  • Reinstall Homebrew
  • Homebrew wants latest version of X11 2.7.7
  • Reinstall libraries
  • Follow instructions of install guide
Note: didn't work with Freetype enabled as yet, so for configuration you could use (note the '10.10.sdk'):

Code: Select all

./configure --enable-static --without-liblzo2 --without-osx-sysroot --without-freetype CFLAGS="-isysroot /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.10.sdk" LDFLAGS="-stdlib=libstdc++"
Wow, 10 years + 3 days! Haven't been here for a while though
