purchase industries

I have an old railroad tycoon game in which it allows you to purchase industries (coal, power stations, farm etc). As the goods are moved the industry makes money for you which can pad your bottom line or profit off of someone elses transportation. I think you would have to have the industry making money on incoming and outgoing goods since some are outgoing only, incoming only, or both directions.
