Yes, there's the search function which returns hits several times.
Apparently, there's such thing as a MiniIN which supports this.
It's called "Snow in Temperate" ...
"Easy Driver"

MiniIN was discontinued as of Jan 1, 2007... so is now ancient history.

I have not updated the Snow in Temperate patch I wrote. But I have plans... maybe sometime in the New Year something (better) will appear.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but snow in temperate would still be amazing for following reasons:

- It´s much more easy to keep track of the landscape. At first glance it´s possible to spot the mountains and hill tops, finding routes for track building is just fun.
- It looks very nice! The temperate scenario has much more GRFs I like, so playing arctic isn´t that much fun for me.

I´ve been playing the MinIn and appreciated the snow (others too?). Thanx very much rick67  .

I´m curious about new things coming up (weather, ...), but for now just snow would be very nice 8) .

Just as a general rule of thumb for forum ethics, don't bump a thread unless you have something worthwhile to contribute.

OT: For sure you have the point. But maybe it´s worth discussing "worthwhile". Showing interest in a feature or asking for the state of development should be okay in the Suggestions-Section. At this point, I think it´s better to post in an old thread with the correct topic instead of opening a new one.

Yep, and then you can have permafrost all year around! And some of the snow friendly GRF's don't respond anyway.
