Hi,
I've try to figure out if there's any way to sort the vehicle list based on cities.
I usually focus on one city at the time when playing my games, and it would be nice to have a way to see all vehicles
connected to stations belonging to the city. I guess the solution would be to add the different type of transportation icons
to the city info box like this:
If there's another way to achieve this, please tell me!

Group your road vehicles by city?
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
Re: City-based vehicle list
Sure, but that's going to be a awful lot of manual work though.
It seems like a pretty logical thing to have as you can already see which vehicles are serving each station separately,
and it's quite common IRL to display all public transport options for a city.
Thanks for your speedy answer!

Re: City-based vehicle list
The naming convention I use for RV could help.
I use CARGO LOADCITY-DESTINATION #
For example, BAUX Devola-Reno 1. The number increments automatically when you clone.
For local buses & mail, it would be BUS Reno Local 1. It might work better if you label it BUS Local Reno 1, then sort the RV list by name. Intercity would be a little trickier though, since you could only sort it by one city.

Thanks for the suggestion cmhbob, the auto-incresement defenitely make things easier.
As you say though, it will not work for intercity transport which is a big drawback to me unfortunately...
