Help me for strgen error : "Undefined command 'CARGO_LIST'"
So I downloaded the recent version of strgen in here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... lit=strgen
But it seems to be old version.
When I type 'strgen' on the command line, there occur errors "Undefined command 'CARGO_LIST'".
In compiling english.txt, it also errors as you can see in the attached image.
My Questions are
1. Is there new recent version of strgen after than strgen-r23740?
2. If there are, where I can download in?
Or if there are not, how can I compile korean.txt into korean.lng which is for 1.3.0-beta1?
I'm sorry for bothering you. Please answer me.

No idea about the errors, but the latest strgen can be found here: http://www.openttd.org/en/download-strgen

+ I've tried it by strgen-r22433 which is downloaded where you mentioned, but similar error occurs.

Hmm. no, it isn't. It seems that compilation/upload of strgen was never fixed (as is mentioned in the thread you linked)
I am not able to do it right now, so i would suggest you go on IRC (chat button at top-right of page) and log on to #openttd where you can get the devs attention more easily.
Although, why are you using strgen, and not WebTranslator (http://translator.openttd.org ) ?

I wanted to up to date korean language on 1.3.0-beta1.Lord Aro wrote:Although, why are you using strgen, and not WebTranslator (http://translator.openttd.org ) ?
It seems that there is no choice. I will wait. :)

I am not sure that waiting is a good strategy, there does not seem to be an easy solution currently.
When you use the web translator, your translations get added to the nightly version, and afaik they will then also be copied into the next 1.3.0-beta versions.
So while it does not change the 1.3.0-beta 1, you can enjoy your work in a nightly (which is basically a slightly updated 1.3.0-beta), and/or in the next beta versions.

The about only way your translations will end up in OpenTTD 1.3.0-beta2 is, if you use the webtranslator. Using strgen is nice, though, if you translate large chunks and need check results immediately - and then it could be used to send in huge patches. Though... again, the web translator is from our POV the much preferred choice for all languages except British English (it's also and even used by the people who have commit access to update their native languages)Telk wrote:I wanted to up to date korean language on 1.3.0-beta1.Lord Aro wrote:Although, why are you using strgen, and not WebTranslator (http://translator.openttd.org ) ?
