Деревья и цвет земли = Trees and colour of the earth
На русском:
В обычном Transport Tycoon земля после посадки деревьев покрывалась травой (становилась зеленой, а не коричневой). Однако в OpenTTD посадка деревьев не изменяет цвет почвы. Как решить эту проблему?
In English:
In usual Transport Tycoon the earth after a planting of trees became covered by a grass (became green, instead of brown). However in OpenTTD the planting of trees does not change colour of soil. How to solve this problem?

Just wait. Grass will grow back over time.

I know. But I want, that after a planting of trees the earth became green at once.FooBar wrote:Just wait. Grass will grow back over time.

OpenTTD won't do that (unless you make the necessary modifications yourself and compile it). It's a feature that the soil remains the same when planting trees.Wanderer-1000 wrote:I know. But I want, that after a planting of trees the earth became green at once.
Re: Деревья и цвет земли = Trees and colour of the earth
I believe there's no way to do that.
The old TTD behaviour (planting tree puts grass back instantly) was changed quite some time ago in favour of the current behaviour (leave soil 'status' as is).

Thanks, but I have already found older version OpenTTD (0.5.0), there this problem is not present.CommanderZ wrote:See the OpenTTD Development section of this forum. Thugh I am pretty sure nobody made such "update" yet
P.S. The theme can be closed.

It's not a problem, but a featureWanderer-1000 wrote:there this problem is not present.

By downgrading to 0.5 you'll miss out on all the nice new features, but if you're happy with that...

If something prevents to enjoy game it is a problem, instead of feature. It's not a problem, but a feature

It is a problem for you to wait some (game) weeks for the growing grass? I can't believe that ...Wanderer-1000 wrote:If something prevents to enjoy game it is a problem, instead of feature. It's not a problem, but a feature

I simply want, that after earth alignment (at building of railways etc.) it was possible to return a grass on those grounds which are not used, but which steels by the brown. It is called as aspiration to beauty
