Amount of Passengers

My first post, hello to the fantastic OTTD Community!

I have a question regarding the amount of passengers at the stations.

After playing a couple of years and establishing the first passenger train line (3 stations, 2 trains), I noticed that there are quite a lot of passengers in a very small town (screenshot). Is it possible to reduce the quite heavy passenger traffic?

I am playing r12180M with gonzola patch pack and the following settings:

Welcome to the forum.

In general you should post questions concerning development patches in the specific thread (Patch: New passenger destinations in this case).

To your question: Try increasing the reduce cargo by setting. However, be careful with value, IIRC it's interpreted exponentially, i.e. 1 means cut to half, 2 cut to quarter, etc.

I NEVER get that many passengers with PaxDest on.. I've seen a max of maybe 30 at any particular station.. Needless to say, it's pretty bad for business...

In my experience lots of passengers are generated when TTRS3 is active...
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.
