Since I got my new computer, I have had to re-install Open TTD. The screen/monitor/TV hasn't changed. Before i could play it in a mid-range (about 1200xsomething) resolution, not in full screen without any problems. Now, however, it loaded in full screen, so I set it to 1680x1050, and it doesnt actually cover the whole screen! ?( . Then I change it to 'not full screen' and the resolution resets back to 640x480, which is useless to me. X(
Can someone give me some pointers on what the problem is, and clues/ways to fix it? Is there any other bits of information you may or may not need?

Maybe you can 'stretch' the image on your screen in the screen menu?

In my driver setting I have an option for screen size to choose between "full screen" and "centered". That should be the one. Depending on the graphics card you have, it may be called differently, but I'm quite sure a setting like that exists somewhere.

Good News! Its solved!
But I have no idea how. ?(
after some furious clicking (proper angry!) i clicked 'un-full screen' and suddenly it loaded in my set resolution, rather than the lowest one!
Its working great now!
