Slowing things down?
I would like time to pass slower.
My favorite trains are maglevs, but it seems there isn't much time to play with them before the game ends.
Is there some way to slow down time? I.e. not let the years pass so quickly?
p.s. game time of course. if you know how to do this in real time, we must talk. privately. don't want it getting out.

Ignore year 2050. You can continue to play a game to pseudo-eternity. You can even start in year 2100 or 21000 and play forever.

When newer better models stop becoming available you lose the thrill of upgrading.

I find it more satisfying to connect everywhere to everywhere through networks, and then having them networks run smoothly, than the upgrade process which is frankly tedious and annoying, and I generally don't upgrade beyond Electric Rails.Baldy's Boss wrote:When newer better models stop becoming available you lose the thrill of upgrading.

I don't like replacing any vehicle with the exact same one!
Re: Slowing things down?
'Change date' in the Cheats menu is useful for that - just change the date back a year every 18 months or so and time will effectively advance 3x slower.
