A very quick and simple question: is there a function/option (hidden somewhere) to allow for "rotate map through 90/180/270/360 degrees" as per various versions of Sim City and similar? It would help with checking street layouts, to ensure all roads are joined.

no, but you can turn houses invisible by pressing "X" (or "Ctrl+X" for more options)
