Only two trains currently serve this recently-lengthened station (the station on the other end fit the second train, but this one wasn't built for it).
What needs to be done to clarify routing?
Move the depot behind the block signal?
Turn around one of the path signals?
Add another signal?
(I have seen trains approach platforms from both directions in the current set-up).
Somehow, when a train reaches one of the block signals at the end of the dual-tracked section at right,it is often "waiting for free path" though the other train is nowhere to be found ahead of it (even at the opposite end of the line). What's the signal deal here?

Re: What's the signal deal here?
I would remove one of the depots and re-signal the station as shown below
Note that it is probably a good idea to signal the dual-track as one track each way to avoid deadlocking if you add more trains, but i've left it as 2-way because the depot should be able to handle any overflow

Re: What's the signal deal here?
Another puzzling signal situation.
Train 116 insists on Waiting for free path, even if told to proceed through a signal (I have deliberately stopped Train 28 to keep it from the inside track that apparently has dibs on clearance to go to Beepool East).
There are plenty of empty signal blocks ahead.
What's the problem?

You have pieces of rails that are not electrified.Baldy's Boss wrote:Another puzzling signal situation.

Re: What's the signal deal here?
Also, one of your tracks of the station has no exit signal, which causes a loading train to block traffic at a nearby track:
Edit: In case you're wondering about everything being electrified, I fixed that first
The train loading wood has no signal after the platform. As a result, the entire track marked with the red line is reserved for that train (so it can continue its journey after loading). Unfortunately, that red track is also on the normal traffic lane, causing the green marked track to be blocked until loading has finished, and the train has left.Edit: In case you're wondering about everything being electrified, I fixed that first
