Country houses
I was struck by this sight of buildings separated by multiple empty tiles from any other buildings, hadn't noticed that before except in a one-building town or arbitrarily-placed company headquarters. It's logical that some like to live far from built-up areas (as I do myself) but to what extent is this possible in the game?

Re: Country houses
You can use a set of Newobjects to place empty tiles in strategic places in cities, where no houses will be placed. Then you can dictate the density of houses manually, but I cannot immediately think of an automatic way to do this.

Re: Country houses
Sometimes houses will grow like this on their own - seems most common in the lowest possible town zone. I often find lone houses along roads outside of town in most games where i have connected two towns by road.

This is true, but having truly rural properties, like... nowhere near a town would be incredibly cool.supermop wrote:Sometimes houses will grow like this on their own - seems most common in the lowest possible town zone. Bonus points if take up multiple tiles, like real world properties do. Pain in the ass land rights negotiations when trying to build that new trainline, anybody?
