Schematic Transit Map

How do you generate a schematic transit map in OpenTTD?

I’m thinking it might be an external tool or something.

Potentially - although I'm not sure how you'd be able get the game to differentiate and pick out stations.

Until then, use Microsoft Visio instead!

There's no way to automagically 'generate' them, and probably won't be because computerised layout engines are terrible at generating good-looking results.

On the other hand, there's a good-sized thread in the Screenshots forum, with examples created by various people with a range of different tools.

I use Dia for mine, e.g. this one.
