installation help

i will re-install windows this weekend and i need some help with re-installing open tt and nightly?
i have some issues last time and nearly lost everything

what do i need to have my current version again on my new windows installation?"
can someone help me out?

Copy the entire OpenTTD folder found in My Documents, and copy it back after re-install. You will then have all saves and stuff back after re-installing OpenTTD on your fresh Windows installation.

just to be sure.

copy the entire ttd to my usb drive
after windows download & install open ttd and nightly?
copy the open ttd folder over the newly installed one?

i was having some trunk issues last time
i could not get my save to load

play with the stable version then, that's why there are stable versions
playing your usual game with trunk versions, and then update those, is not the best solution for playing with savegames
