Information on FIRS

Hey guys. Apologies if I'm asking a question with an obvious answer.
I'm looking for some information on FIRS.
I've found
http://wiki.openttd.org/FIRS
but it has a nice big warning about the info being out of date-specifically the info I'm looking for!

I've also found
http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/firs
but that seems more aimed for those in the know who are looking to develop it further.

Specifically I'm looking for info on how 'industries' deal with not being supplied, and how I can make money early on as I'm struggling!

Newer FIRS versions have some documentation at URLs like http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/firs/rel ... arted.html (releases) or http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/firs/nig ... arted.html (nightlies)

(More generally, browse to the 'docs' folder of the appropriate version at http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/firs/ ). But then, it only covers "how to play" very briefly and mostly describes economies, cargos and industries.

The page on wiki about FIRS is *seriously* out of date. I am hoping someone 'improves' it soon

Gameplay tips are more subjective, but the facts about how industries work are factual The wiki is wrong on some of those.
