2way signaling

i haven't played openttd in some time and just redownloaded, with v1.2.0 i noticed there is a complete change with the way signals work i cant seam to figure out how if still possible you can make a track run a 2way on a single track. im able to make the signals work as a 1way

Signals have not changed. The most recent change was the addition of path signals, and that was a long time ago.
The http://wiki.openttd.org/Signals page should explain how to use signals. There is also a tutorial hpw to run more than one train at a line.

thanks A LOT found my issue the gui was bugged. had to reinstall
