OpenTTD 0.7.1-RC3

Good morning/afternoon/evening.

Due to television stations canceling Chuck, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Andromeda, Enterprise, NCIS, Numb3rs, Dead Like Me, Dexter, Stargate (SG1 & Atlantis), Knightrider, Bones, Pushing Daisies, The IT Crowd, The Middleman, House, Big Bang Theory, Sanctuary, Top Gear (UK & Australia), ..., there is a new release candidate.
Maybe it was also caused by some bug reports and fixes though.

So please keep on testing and reporing, so our developers stay busy and do not start thinking about buying tv stations or similiar. :wink:

(If you still wonder what this is all about: You can download a new testing version from http://www.openttd.org, and next to the download you can also see what has been changed/fixed/broken since last version).

At least they didn't cancel Weeds and True Blood, so there may be hope yet

It isn't? Then why haven't there been new episodes for the last few weeks? Sounds like (temporary) cancellation to me!

Attempting to open a saved game based on a scenario made in 0.7.0-beta 1 attracts following:
"Message
Game Load Failed
Broken saved game-Unknown chunk type"

Thank you for your interest in my problem and i am attaching copy of saved game as requested.
Incidently also ditto for the scenario file, 0.7.1-RC3 cannot open it as well.

That savegame was made with the "more height levels" patch applied, which is not 0.7.0, and thus you savegame can only be loaded in the specific build you created it with. Loading savegames created with patches versions isn't (and will never be) supported.
