My un-retirement
Hi guys,
It's been a good 4 years, but I feel the need to move on. There's not much more that can be done with OpenTTD and I need a new challenge.
So I have decided to join the team working on OpenLoco. You'll probably see me in the Locomotion forums
So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Re: My retirement
The people that know you should already have suspected this. After all you are always the one saying: "I already have a patch for that".
Good luck with OpenLoco and lets hope it will become as succesful as OpenTTD/TTDPatch.

Re: My retirement
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
But if it isn't a challenge for you, I suppose you can finish this and this by tomorrow
Anyways, best wishes and all. Thanks for what you've done to make OpenTTD even better. We'll miss you
But somehow I have a hard time believing that you're leaving us. Of all days you pick April Fools...

Re: My retirement
You should know we do our most serious things, like releases, on April Fools day, right?
Re: My retirement
Yes, I'm expecting 0.7.0 final any minute now.

Re: My retirement
I'm getting seriously confused by this year's April Fool's day. Everybody shouts great/bad news I'm really losing clue what is real and what is joke. To be honest, the only really good joke I have seen this year is the Pirate Bay being acquired by Warner Bros.
So, please, is this joke?

Re: My retirement
Best of luck in all that you endeavor to achieve Peter. You have given quite a bit of yourself over the years to the OpenTTD project and your talents will surely be missed. Follow your dreams where ever they may take you and may those dreams never turn into nightmares.

OpenLoco? Here I thought you were going to move to a GOOD game and do OpenRCT.

Re: My retirement
I don't think there is a need for a OpenRCT, RCT3 is already a very good replacement for it.AlienKing wrote:OpenLoco? Here I thought you were going to move to a GOOD game and do OpenRCT.

Just my little way of increasing exposure to the OpenLoco 'project'.

Good to have you back on the team, Peter! Too bad you missed the unveiling of 0.7.0-Final, but well that's life I guess
For like three seconds I thought you were really leaving us, but then I had a look at the bottom right corner of the screen, where the date is...
