i'd stay with "kopieren", even if it does not perfectly fit. you should not cripple the translation too much just because the GUI is not flexible enough (yet).

after giving it some thought on the "go to" issue, i'd vote for changing it to "fahren", as it covers the most parts. the airplane thing is negligible, i believe.

i dont know about you guys, but my thought towards an interface is, that if you have the same layout, the same buttons are comonly at the same place, so they dont have to say "stassenfahrzeug kopieren" or "flugzeug kopieren", just "kopieren" on it's own should suffice! when in the tool tip one can mention the details, but for button's sake, why do those.... buttons... need to have these details - nothing we can change here, but perhaps something to mention to the devs?

"duplizieren" might be another proper translation for clone. "fahren" is good enough for "go to".

Yeah. But again, isn´t this rather uncommon in connection with a vehicle in German? And BTW, "lifetime" = "Standzeit" would be the usual technical term, e.g. for tools etc. Nevertheless, I won´t recommend it for vehicles either.

Why not "Betriebsdauer"?
i wasn't against "Betriebsdauer" per se, i was just pointing out that there is need for consistency here.

You can always change back, if the GUI allows flexibility, but stable releases should have proper translations. (fitting buttons/windows)

BTW: I thought those translation fixes will be backported to 0.6?
Edit: Discussed it at #openttd in the meantime and Rubidum fixed it...

Not sure about this one. Are they really realistic with this setting turned on? Are they unrealistic with this setting turned off?
The English text is "... more realistically sized ..." - so I would suggest:

"Realistischere Einzugsgebiete verwenden"

Which train? When is a train "lost" - when he "strays"? Is this setting also for crashed trains? Otherwise I would suggest:
"Warnung anzeigen, wenn sich ein Zug verirrt hat" or "Warnung anzeigen, wenn ein Zug den Weg nicht findet"
Maybe someone with a little more knowlage of the matter can help here.

I'm with eddi now. It should be "Differenzierte Einzugsgebiete verwenden" or maybe "Angepasste Einzugsgebiete verwenden" because that is what the setting changes.

"Differenzierte Einzugsgebiete" sounds kinda too complicated for me, i wouldn't really understand the meaning of it in that situation.

I'd rather go with "Verbesserte Einzugsgebiete verwenden" ;)

Since I don´t know that particular feature in the first place, it´s no wonder that I don´t understand the meaning of "differenzierte Einzugsgebiete" nor ""verbesserte Einzugsgebiete". I.e., it´s a clear hint that these descriptions are inadequate and in need of improvement. 8)

No, this feature gives different kind of station different catchment areas - a bus stop has a catchment area of 3, a train station of 4 and an intercontinental airport about 10 or so :D
Without that setting, or with TTD, they all have a catchment area of 4.

If it scales with importance and size, it's still some kind of proportional imho. As an alternative i'd prefer "Realistischere Einzugsgebiete" (without "verwenden").
