Yes. T&TT was a beta (4?) of 3DTT, released without permission by Ubisoft.

Briefly, as Prof. Frink told, TTT is only a beta version of 3DTT.
3DTT hasn't been released yet due to legal problems... I suggest you to read the topic http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... sc&start=0

 well this explains EVERYTHING i.e why the game was so slow, buggy and generally pretty 'whack'.

Its fairly hard to believe that an illegal unfinished version got released as a boxed retail game... but the facts speak for themselves i suppose, i bought it from 'Game' for goodness sake

But it does explain why the only real way you could actually play it was in sandbox mode :?

Lets treat TTT similarly:

Lets not, because such links can get orudge in a lot of legal trouble. Please don't do it again, or warnings may be given.

OK.
I thought that since there is trouble with this game (case in court) original not released, they would not care so much about this beta. Possibly links will die quickly, as this is the case with all rapidshare warez links.

Just in case someone bothers about it: I didn't upload there, I don't have the game, neither did Owen. I just found these links google searching for Trains & Trucks Tycoon, with some others that didn't exist again in rapidshare.
