And here is the first release:
WLMset_v0_2.zip
(65.69 KiB) Downloaded 340 times
It's a playtest version. So it will not be released on Bananas just yet, because the more streamlined version will probably be a lot more different.
But it will hopefully give an extra boost in much needed extra graphics!

All right, I am absorbing your ideas 8)

Anyway, important news! In light of another similar set like this, the decision has been made to merge the WLM Set under the City Objects set (by flogeza). Why you ask? Because it means a more thorough and complete set and the potential of more work and progress on either sets. I noticed that set also has flags and landmarks (Eiffel tower...) as this set, so why not put it together.

Obviously if you have been spying on me on the forums you would know I appear for a month or two, and then disappear for a while to return later. I have decided to focus on another set I had started (EuroMetro) and make contributions as well to the City Objects set.

So don't worry, I will still draw all your ideas (I won't promise when  ) and will instead go into the city objects set. All discussion and contribution to this set should go to that thread ->

Could you draw some famous skyscrapers too? like Burj Khalifa and Sears tower.

Good options to add to the set. I think that building a great height can interfere with the flight of the aircraft the game. Although I don't know. It is interesting to know the opinion of the creators of the set - World Landmark(s) Set

All great ideas, indeed! I am currently working on the Shanghai World Financial Centre. Many other famous skyscrapers as you pointed out will be added, like the twin towers in KL and Dubai's Burj Khalifa.

I won't guarantee they will be scaled in height :P

So far I've finished more flags and they are going into Flogeza's object set upon approval (as well as any skyscrapers). I basically gave up on Australia and NZ, I just can't  If you have further flags to request, you can post it over in Flogeza's thread

I actually am not sure either, but from what I know, airplanes in OTTD at least won't crash into very tall structures. I have seen glitching in the taller towers from this set, but I don't think it would change the flight path of airplanes in the game.
