Dutch Station Addition Set, version 0.8 released on Bananas

Well here it finally is, the Dutch Station Addition Set (DSA-set for short)!
It started out as an idea to change the original Dutch Station Set graphics into island-style graphics. But it grew out to a lot more ;-)

0.8 is available on the ingame download (Bananas).

What is in the set:

*Single sided platforms:
v0.1:
-Original Dutch Station Set-tiles converted to single side graphics (except for the low-platform tiles, new graphics made them obsolete)
-Stairs to platform
-Converted roofed platform
-Stairs to bridge
-Pedestrian crossings, train aware
-Station name sign without stairs on the side
-Ticketbox
-Ramp to platform

-End of pedestrian crossings

The wubo has some sort of problem, if two half wubo path are laid to create a wide one, there is a dark edge in the middle. A normal Middle small wubo path is just plain.

Have to look in game again how the problem was exactly.

WUBO's are not meant to be placed like that. Why would you place a double WUBO across the rails? They are meant to be narrow paths.
The effect with the wubopaths (trackless) is because when you place that next to a path with WUBO, the dark line would show up at the connection, now it doesn't.

Ok, I have one problem, the island style platform cannot be dragged. Further I like how modular this set is, it allows a real good design of stations.

Amsterdam roofs are under island style, but the graphics are outer.

I don't think that tiles that have a specific size set can be dragged, but changing the setting of the platformlength may be an option.

Yes, I know ;-) That was a difficult one, because I was not sure under what section I should put it in the menu.
It seems logical to have the platforms on the outersides for that sort of roof. Having platforms in the middle just doesn't look right.
I wouldn't know where else to place it in the menu.
Further I like how modular this set is, it allows a real good design of stations
thnx! Screenies would be nice ;-)

See the little brown fence in the garden of the station building.
Make it yellowish form 1970-1990, this is seen at the culemborg station in the original set.

On the outer tracks I really miss fencing or hedges. Would give problems with the side ramps, but can be solved with a bit overlapping.

Maybe it's a nice idea to make the red fencing dark brown before 1970?
See the little brown fence in the garden of the station building.
Make it yellowish form 1970-1990, this is seen at the culemborg station in the original set.
A future feature might be some vintage style tiles.
On the outer tracks I really miss fencing or hedges. Would give problems with the side ramps, but can be solved with a bit overlapping.
A simpeler solution would be some non-track tiles that you can place on the outsides that have either a fence or hedge on them. And then some with grass or concrete. Would only mean drawing about 8 tiles in stead of having to alter all the existing ones and it would also not create problems with tiles like the side ramps.

Only tiles from this new set.
Station is temporary used as end of the line.

you can program the fences/hedges to only appear when not adjacent to another station tile. no non-track-tiles or other weird stuff needed...

Also possible, but i think that would take the modular advantage away.

... so you build in an exception for when there is a station tile there that has no platform on this side, i don't really see a problem with that, as long as the other tile type is defined in the same NewGRF

I hope you all can understand that I am not very looking forward to doing that.
So, I'ld say, go ahead and draw and code that ;-)

EDIT:
I did however draw some non-track tiles with fences and hedges on platformhight.

Also I made some ends to the pedestriancrossings (if you want the crossings to end in between tracks, like the station does that can be seen in the picture a couple of posts above this one)
Furthermore some graphics errors have been fixed. See the log in the first post for the changes.

Version 0.5 is released on Bananas.

It now has:
- a normal empty tile that has a darker platform in the middle when built with drag&drop, by Quast65
- Old style CTA with black pole (normal, single sided and island style), by YSH
- Modern CTA (normal, single sided and island style), by YSH
- Station Delft (non-track), by ths
- Douma-style (simple version, like Beilen) stations (non-track frontview and backview, island style and normal style), by ths

Many thanks to ths and YSH for their graphical contributions!

Due to a little error with a PM, I didn't receive all the stations ths had drawn. But I did now :twisted:

So version 0.6 (available on Bananas) has:
- Douma style station, like Etten-Leur (a bigger one than the Douma style simple version), non-track front view/non-track back view/island style/island style with platforms on the side
- Eindhoven Station, non-track and with tracks

Furthermore, I coded the non-platform overpasses also as waypoints and I made a waypoint with dirt and little blue station stop signs, so that there is not so much clean grass when you have a big island-styled station with non-stop tracks ;-)

Also I made some changes to the non-track Douma's from v0.5, the color of the platform is corrected (was dark, should be light) and basetile should be concrete style, not platform style.

EDIT: Bugger! Just spotted a mistake in the larger Douma island-style, the sides of the platform in one of the views has the wrong shade, is light where it should be dark and vice versa. Ahh well, on the to-do list ;-)

This is where I dreamed about; Now I can try make every beautiful station. At once all of a sudden this becomes my new favorite station set.
