OpenGFX+ Road Vehicles now includes a shiny new feature in nightlies, Autorefit!
As usual, this feature has been stolen from OpenGFX+ Trains.

This new feature could use some testing. You can get the latest nightly here:

http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/ogfx-rv/ ... es/LATEST/

I plan to release a new version soon. If anyone is interested, there are a few things that you can do to help.

The set is missing translation for many languages. Currently we have Dutch, English, German, Hungarian, Russian and Spanish. You can find the original english file here:

http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/ogf ... nglish.lng

Besides translations, I have also been thinking on trams. We only have three models and only for passengers. Should we include more models for other cargos?

To all translators: the description string has been slightly modified. If you send me the updated string or a lng file I'll update your languages :)

To anyone interested: It has been suggested a few times that the trucks could use an increase in power to let them reach their maximum speeds in reasonable times and behave better in slopes. I have coded a first attempt; all buses get increased power and a slight increase in max speed. Trucks also get an increase in power. Before I commit, I would like to have opinions on the values I'm using. I'm attaching a modified version of ogfx-rv that includes my changes and a testing savegame.

What do you think?

Here it is.

While translating, I noticed a couple of things:
- Shouldn't the word "Truck" be reserved for english_us.lng and english_au.lng, and the word "Lorry" be used in default english.lng?
- STR_ERROR_ENGINE_POOL is used in this set, but it is STR_ERR_ENGINE_POOL that is used in oGFX+ Trains. Does it matter?

I did not know that :). In default OpenTTD they use "Truck" for english.lng. In case it is wrong, IMO it must be corrected in OpenTTD first.

Although they are similar, strings in OpenGFX+ Trains and OpenGFX+ Road Vehicles are not meant to be shared, so that is not a problem

Lorry would be the term almost exclusively used in England it is true. But truck is the more universal term over the English speaking countries. Regardless, it is definitely something which should be changed in OTTD first, if at all.

For totally correct assuage, at least as far as WW2 British army was concerned. A Truck has a capacity on less than a ton, Lorry more than a ton, do I guess everything in OTTD are Lorries

No comments about the power/speed tweaks?

I'm going to make a new release next sunday. German, hungarian and russian translations are still missing an update. Also, if you want to do any untranslated language there is still time. You can find the english file here:

http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/ogf ... nglish.lng

Edit: Alberth sent me an update for the dutch translation :)

I think I've found a small bug. When you disable default vehicles and you disable trucks, the Balogh Armoured Truck, Uhl Armoured Truck and Foster Armoured Truck still appear in the purchase window.
