Farm Set!
Would anyone be interested if I re-created the farms for TTD?
It'll take me awhile to create it, (if there is demand), so you'll have to be patient. Things I had in mind, adding machinery to the farm yard, adding livestock to the pens, stuff like that. Feel free to add anything.

I once had the idea of replacing the haystacks with machines..
But it was too hard and it still popped up everywhere

I think I'm mistaken here, I'm not going to add machinery to the fields, but to the housing area. (farmyard) The fields will stay the same for now, maybe if I have enough time I'll change the fields to something like canola. Have some nice bright yellow.spaceman-spiff wrote:Off-course , farms are one of the nicest industries, they bring color to the landscape
Although I don't know how you will do that
You can't just add a machine on the farmland, this changes so quickly
I think they would pop up just about everywhere

why you quit

No, no threatening PM. In these 'modern' days, people become important, or in my case, would like to be important. My work was getting less by the minute, and I'm employed now at a new place, which will eat up A LOT more of my free time, and pay out well! (I'll be working this job while I'm farming too, mind you) Luckily, there is a computer at my new work place, (with dial-up), so I'll be able to visit here while I 'work'. But to complete this farm set, no way. And hell, I can't even get the graphics to work with my TTD, which is annoying, which also plays a big role in me quitting.
Well I sure hope someone will continue this, *hint*, because 29 votes, I think people would like beefed up farms.
Edit, If nobody grants to take this over, it will be abondoned, and someday I just may continue it, 'cause hell, someday the boss has to hate me, that's life. So I pleed someone to finish this, your ideas may not be what I had in mind, but I'd like it to happen either way. Somethings that I had in mind, -see attachment-, truck hauling bales to 'bale shed', and livestock in the pen (nice graphic skills eh?), and I was possibly going to add manure to the pen aswell, to give you a taste of what we go through. The silos were already made big, so I was to leave them alone, the house was going to get some work, how about some grass and a lawn-mower? And a swing for the kids? And the last and possibly most hard, change the crop. I was thinking canola, it fits into the TTD theme, canola is harvasted, trucked or trained to the factory, and made into the great thing known as 'butter.' (goods) What'dya think. If someone wants to continue this, PM me if you wish, to get more detailed information, or more ideas, it's your call, [o'heavenly master of graphic creater.] Your name goes there.

Yea, I like them too. But (always "but"...), when you repaint one farm screen, i thought that all of them will change themselves, so it looks quite strange when in game. Am I right?

Thanks, I have 1 person considering to take on this project, if he decides not to, and nobody else will, I can find time to draw these graphics, and e-mail / PM to someone to distribute to others. Is this possible? Because I cannot do that part, for as easy as it is, it's to hard for me.SHADOW-XIII wrote:I like those

Well with help with some good people, they are ready.
Zips contain a exe with livestock graphics and the truck graphics, either DOS or WIN.
I'm new to this, so excuse me if you get something you shouldn't.
And a special thanks to Marcel, because without him none of this would have happened.
