In Vienna there has been a pilot scheme with cargo trams from 2004 to 2005. Since this was quite a success, there exist 4 cargo-trams in the meanwhile (with a regular capacity of 13 tons each, that has been succesfully expanded to 40 tons per trial). As they carry the brunt of the cargo that is needed and moved by the Municipial Transport Services it might be a bit of understatement to call them mobile receycling depots.

The extension of the viennese cargo tram goes on, and in the not too far future it shall reach two goals: To serve the needs of the urban infrastructure and to carry a greater deal of goods for the private industry. As a company you might already take advantage of it, but only on restricted routes - as the logistik for the fleet management system is still in its incipiencies. (To what the increase of the vehicle pool seems to be coherent too...)

An official quicktime-video of the viennese cargo tram can be seen here

Best regards,

Carlo

That my friend would be the full sprite sheet for the M4S HGRTV32 with full, half full and empty small and large hoppers (currently loaded with coal).

In fact, that sheet happens to be ready and right here!

Behold the industrial workhorse!

It has been brought to my attention that my sprite sizes are wrong. Could someone please take a look at them and identify any errors?

Please and thank you

so we need stats!
we need a manufacturer
it needs a name
you will purchace this as a set (the loco with [4/5/6] wagons permanently coupled) you can attach [one/three] more sets to the first set.
it will be refittable to cargoes [a-z]
it needs a top speed
it needs a hp rating
it needs a weight
it needs a cargo capacity
it needs a start year
it needs a life
it needs a production end year
and anything else we can think of...

my idea:
company: Meers Electrics
model: HG32
top speed: 45mph
hp: 2,500
weight: 70t
start year 1995
life 25 years
production finishes in 2030

Those are suggestions, by the way. Feedback would be much appreciated. Some final tweaking might be necessary once it is in-game, but please comment on the first draft.

Thank you.
