BTW, didn´t I sent you vehicle data for some Bremen trams sometime ago? Anyway, I don´t think this would too big a problem ...

[OT, steamers in late games]
Remember the requests to have a lovely steamer in late years in your DBSet.
Reaction: not powerful enough, too expensive, not useful, sod off!
Mmh, not that I know of. I think you´re mixing things up. AFAIR, the problem for those people was that "enginespersist" didn´t work back at that time. Apart from that former bug, there´s no hindrance for a player, at least not from a .grf set developer´s side. 8)

I´m making use of this for myself if I ever play a game long enough.

Yes, they are nightly compatible, you won't get artic trams though as OTTD doesn't support that yet.

The answer to that is "When it's done", but you should really ask such questions here.

Until OTTD Nightly r9959 this grf worked just fine.
Later Nightlies crashed instandly. It seems that tramtrkw.grf is also the name of the neccesary standard tramtrack grf.

I had leave the name`tramtrkw.grf`to de standard one and change the name and now it works again.

Erm, is it just me or that I can't seem to download the German Tramsets. Be they version 0.42 or 0.5. It doesn't seem to be on GRFCrawler too.

Thanks RK. Even though it is 0.42 when the title of the thread is v0.5. Haha!

Hi, good job so far, RK!

I was wondering if there's a way to get a GRF with the long trams (especially Dresden)? I searched the forums, google, and the grfcrawler. But all the few versions I found, don't seem to have them in it.

Whoever said that? There are lots of sets appearing on the forums that use aRVs for OTTD and TTDP.

That's what I thought - that means there's other reasons the aRV version of this (excellent!) set is not available (yet?).

Well, actually there is some news: RK and I have agreed to work on this set together, which means I will do some coding here. There also is a number of trams already being drawn and ready to be coded. However, right now I'm concentrating on a huge update of my signalling guides, since there has been a lot of progress in that field. Once this has been done (within the next two or three weeks I hope), I will shift my focus onto coding RVs and trams again.
