You can say that again!
I don't know what kind of postprocessing you've been doing, but I think you're better of leaving the image as it was originaly...
EDIT: I notice you are using an old WIP version of the sawmill, you should use the one on the wiki.
I welcome you, Magnificent!

Lumbermill has received, I shall show variant later...

You have received from me variants of Northern light tower?

I would like to make a complete set for a different climate

I show a map of city of Warsaw.

Post by Sergej_S »

Specially for my friends and admirers from Poland!
(On today you 14 men)

I show a map of city of Warsaw.
The real copy of the screen is executed on a map of district -
The script "Europa_10_281.scn" - size 1 685 981, date of release 21.04.2006.

On the given copy of the screen 60 443 unique colours are shown.

The urban buildings use 32-bit the graphic images of the remarkable artists:
Athanasios , Greece
BerberJesus , Germany
Brupje , Netherlands
Czestmyr , Czechia
Dmh_mac , Netherlands
Thgergo , Hungary

The graphic interface GUI Toolbar can be received under the direct references here:
http://lidars.narod.ru/Files/OpenTTD/GUI32bpp.rar

Graphics by Joed , Australia

Sergej

The note:
Roads use usual 8-bit of the image from the connected file "TTRS3w.grf", Zimmlock's
The screen is shown only for preliminary viewing, scale of buildings at the artists is various.

I show an example Sawmill, Second Edition.

Post by Sergej_S »

I show an example Sawmill, Second Edition.
Graphics by Dmh_mac , Netherlands.

On the given copy of the screen is shown of 42 181 unique colours.

The Lighthouse can be received under the direct references here:
http://lidars.narod.ru/Files/OpenTTD/Lighthouse_s.tar

Graphics by Dmh_mac , Netherlands.

The note:
I had to touch some scales (3*3,4*4,5*5).
Unique(sole) scale, which has approached for my liked automobiles - 6*6.
It is the size Sprites 96*96 points, this format is compatible with a platform Simutrans (96*96)
Almost coincides with a format " Chris Sawyers Locomotion " (100*100).
For Russian authors of models of a vehicle I offered 96*96 points on Russian forum of half-year back!
I shall explain - why this size approaches is an intermediate variant between a format 64 and 128...
The size Sprites 96*96 - average - that is in the usual version he will seem more,
But for a new format he even less...

Give Sergej_J his dues...

He's battled against a stream of nasty comments and all of a sudden he pops up with something that makes people wonder if what he's doing might be a good thing after all.

They're not to my personal taste but I think it's a great effort.

Kudos

They wern't nasty comments. They were just protecting peoples work, and nothing personal was ever intended. But your right, I shall give him credit for the last image. Apart from the lorries that make me feal slightly sick, I like that image, it has really kept the TT feal. The colours have that really good summer like TT feal to them, the contrast and shaddows are really nice as well. The trees will really need shaddows I recon, cause the buildings really look more definate and realistic than they do. Thats the first image that isn't cluttered, its just a peiceful penisular!. Good stuff

It is possible to write it more slowly, more simple words, that the people from middle of Russia could it understand...

Russian bus Liaz-5256 1994 of release

Post by Sergej_S »

New vehicle -
Russian bus Liaz-5256 1994 of release

The author of model - Akaction , Russia.

The new mathematical model is used
For movement on the crossed district...

Check of job of model I recommend to do(make) on assembly OpenTTD 32bpp, thus
It is necessary to switch on a mode of real acceleration...
Enable realistic acceleration for road vehicles - ON
Disable road vehicle speed limit - OFF

Appearance and the characteristics are shown on a real copy of the screen,
The kind of same district from other point and other scale is shown.

The files GRF/TAR by the size 140 Кб can be taken in archive here:
http://lidars.narod.ru/Files/OpenTTD/Liaz5256w.rar

Recommended kind of a line for testing new algorithm of movement on crossed
The districts can be seen here http://lidars.narod.ru/Index.files/Page3111.htm

Sergej
The note: I very much liked model, therefore I have made a copy of the screen
For itself also has replaced Avatar.

these adhesives are from a "gerber edge" it seems.. i hate that :D

@all.. i really don´t know what´s your problem with sergej. as long as he does only show images i don´t see a problem.

@Sergej_S: german military language? where did you learn that in school? :O
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.

seelenquell.pytalhost.com has been reactivated from 16/07/28 till 18/05/31.. now it´s deactivated. at least there..

It is possible to write it more slowly, I nothing have understood from such long offers,
I already spoke, that at school I learned(taught) only military German language...

Sergej.
the TRUCK on the RIGHT MISS on the small VIEWPORT
the TRUCK on the LEFT has the WRONG ANGLE in the VIEWPORT
this mean only one thing to me: the trucks are pasted with photoshop or a similar picture editing software, maybe also MS Paint

they look like adhesive cards, you paste them where you like

if somebody wants to translate this to russian so he can understand it i'll appreciate
@all.. i really don´t know what´s your problem with sergej. as long as he does only show images i don´t see a problem.
i've nothing against Sergej, i only don't believe in these screenshots, at least the vehicle part... the town part is really well made

Грузовик справа смещен относительно части дороги, по которой он должен ехать;

Wolf01 - i agree... but i'm not completely sure though if ottd's engine allows somehow to shift images from newgrf files (this may be grf flaw). If it has fixed position and ottd prohibits it to move away from standard viewport, then you're completely right.
And 2nd... yes, that's can't be explained in any way :)

That is explicitly forbidden by the owner of GRF Crawler, so it may not be done.
