British Tram Set [Led by Captain_Kirk76 - See New Thread]
Right, we'll at least give this a look.
Just create a new thread to promote the idea a bit more.
We shall see.

Dude I'm no better than you are.
I have to try though, since I brought the idea up.
I'm thinking mostly the every-day use trams, and then - as maybe a refittable livery (if this is possible ) a novelty tram with many of the special setups of Blackpool's Trams in the Illuminations season.
I dunno how many different trams it would incorporate though - I can imagine very few - there are still some uber-old trams running along Blackpool beach - so they're not replaced with new models very often.
How many do people think are necessary... three? maybe four?
If we can't get enough trams from the Blackpool era, what about other tram/metro systems in the UK... I know the West Midlands has one (The Midland Metro), and I know Manchester has it's famous setup.
I dunno... Just throwing ideas onto the table at the moment - this may not go anywhere. Or it may. Who knows...

Your help would be appreciated, for sure. You're in
Trouble is I'm not sure I'd be very good at drawing trams and stuff. I don't want to end up just orchestrating things - I have to try. I think it would be better if we had a decent artist on-board though.
Will the real jamesvassie please stand up? If he's still interested that is .

That's a good pic.
Heheh, the Chuckle Brothers.
Do we want a tracking table for such? I'm afraid so the only place I've got is on my website, unless someone else has a better place - so basically a scrap of paper would be better .
Anyhow, I'm muchly excited bout this.
I'll try drawing that tram later - and then you can all laugh

Dave dont forget you dont have to link to the tracking table from your main site if you dont have a ttd section, just link to it in your signature until it your ttd site gets done. It wouldnt hurt to leave it in your sig after the ttd section went up anyway. Some of our users do it this way. Dont forget that if there's a table of information and people can easily get to it, then people will be more likely to join the project.

Ta for that tip robotboy. I shall certainly look into it, and probably have something done in the next couple of days. I'm rather busy at the moment.
I was up north yesterday, near to Blackpool - Preston in fact - but I saw very little of Preston (*whistles innocently*), so Blackpool was definitely out.
I'm gonna go hunting for specs and such today - if I have time.
