Hello, I recently noticed that you can add your own graphics to openTTD.
But I need a bit of help, how exactly do I do this?
I can draw the images in any format I want, such as png, bmp or pcx. But how do I get them into the game?
I noticed there is also a high resolution mod (zBase), is it possible to get that same quality development tool for the newgfx?
Thank you kindly for helping.

You need to provide them in NewGRF format.Nunoko wrote:Hello, I recently noticed that you can add your own graphics to openTTD.

See e.g. http://newgrf-specs.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NML:Main and a tutorial at http://www.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NMLTutorial
http://dev.openttdcoop.org/ hosts a lot of projects which you could take a look at (and even use as basis to get started, provided you heed their license).
Yes, you can provide also 32bpp graphics, e.g. have a look at
