If there is one thing i've learnt lately. Positive mental attitudes always help ;)

Seems like a fine positive mental attitude to me.

Besides there are no losers in a rollerskate disco!

No use in pretending to be someone you're not.

I love bumping topics.

Also, I just broke up with my significant other. She cried so much that she skipped school.

The benefits of being single is that you don't have to deal with broken hearts, unless you are empathic to everyone.

Empathetic? That's me all the way. I hang out with girls more often than guys to be honest.

For me, that line reminds me of Red Dwarf (Series III I think it was, Marooned) when Lister describes how and when he lost his virginity.

She took all her clothes off and stood there in front of me completely naked. I was so excited I nearly dropped my skateboard.

Skateboard? How old were you?

Without sounding "age-ist" if you are at an age where your girlfriend skips school when you break up, you are either too young to have a "significant other" or you're one of those creepy late-20-somethings that date 17 year old girls...

I'm very sensitive about my age...how dare you!

I say significant other because it was more than a year. 2 and 1 month to be exact. My first one, too.

Then I partially rescind that statement. That is a significant relationship for one in High School. I still wouldn't say "Significant Other" really as I doubt you've gone though many life experiences together at this point, but as I said, hats off to you for having a relationship of that length.

One does have to ask, if it were apparently working alright, why break up?

Because I realized that I'm only 16, and I've only dated one person. With only that under my belt, I couldn't expect myself to make the right decisions on our relationships following said epiphany. This ate at me until I had to grab the bull by the horns and go through with my resolution.

If I might add something here, I never dated until I was 17, and I had precisely 1 girlfriend (an abusive one at that) prior to meeting Karli. I got married at 19, and I am now 25 with 2 children (and it's my youngests 3rd Birthday today).

I'd argue that more relationships doesn't mean more experience, it simply means you met the wrong person and made the wrong decision to date them many times. But, what's done is done, and if that's your belief at this stage in life well good luck to you.

I didn't start dating until I was nearly 19. Really, I don't think that you need to worry.

I'm 22 and only recently been in my first relationship. It lasted just over three months. You sir, have nothing to worry about.
