I'm making some t-shirts now

Post by kamnet »

So I got inspired to do some artwork, and somebody said I should put it on a t-shirt and sell it. So, I did. Enjoy!

Cool! :)

You inspired me to learn about more about the event and the monorail. Here's an interesting description with a good (slightly pixelated?) photo of the monorail in action.

Unfortunately the site now only exists in Internet Archive, and many great photos are missing, but follow the menu and you can read the full story and aftermath of Alweg at the event. https://web.archive.org/web/20130610125 ... alia61.it/

I got my test t-shirt. I'm not very excited about it. Part of it may be because I submitted a low-resolution image. I thought it was enough, but when I submitted the same design to Amazon it was immediately rejected as not meeting minimum image resolution standards. And I can see some digital artifacting, which is definitely my fault. But the ink doesn't look to be good quality, and it has a very offending, chemically smell. The colors are also not very vibrant. It may be because most of the shirts that are marketed on this site have a destressed look about them.

I'll give it another shot, and if I still don't like it, I'll try another vendor.
